WESTSIDE MANAGEMENT :: 270 RIVER STREET :: 518-587-7600
Downtown Troy is home to many different types of businesses and to the people who work in those diverse buildings. Many of the historical buildings have been modernized and adapted for ever-growing businesses and residents. Apart from keeping the facades and spaces of buildings up-to-date, property managers and property management companies help promote, welcome, problem-solve and support tenants; both resident and commercial.
Jesse Tranvaag is the Property Manager with West Side Management, who oversees their Troy portfolio. You may have seen him around downtown, or if you’re a resident in the Dauchy Building, you will pass by his desk everyday as you enter the lobby. He came onboard last year and is excited to support his tenants, introduce new clients to Troy, build relationships and help existing businesses and companies grow. Previously working in Binghamton with student housing, Jesse’s has eight years of experience and excels at communication, creating relationships between residential and commercial customers and working with the dedicated maintenance team on preventative maintenance and maintaining the properties overall appearance and condition. He feels community starts where people live and frequent. He takes a hands-on approach to each day as with it comes a different challenge and opportunity. Jesse maintains all social media outlets, assists with creating the preventative maintenance schedules, organizes residential events such as the recent resident Pizza Night Mixer at Bacchus Wood-Fired, and is the liaison between tenant and landlord.
West Side Management excited to guide Troy residents and businesses into the future. The company has a home office in Saratoga Springs, NY, but currently provides service to five historical buildings in Troy. The company began managing properties in downtown beginning in 2014, working with Bonacio Construction with renovating and refurbishing apartments, retail and commercial space. The buildings they currently service include The Dauchy, River Triangle, The Hendrick Hudson Building, The Keenan and 33 2nd Street. The historical buildings house apartments and refurbished offices from a 3-room venture to a 7th floor loft space. Historically Troy is a hub for trade, industry and invention; it is now a hub for new technology, consulting services, start-ups and more. Approximately 30-40% of Jessie’s residents living at a property he manages have relocated to Troy, for newly acquired positions in the technology industry.
Jesse and West Side Management are excited to help you find your next business location or home in Downtown Troy!
